2023 AASCF STATES
This past weekend was nothing short of spectacular for MCA, as all three of our outstanding teams took the AASCF States competition floor and emerged as State champions. The dedication, hard work, and unwavering spirit of our athletes truly shone through, leaving us all immensely proud.
MCA Results:
🥇 Furies – Open Level 3
🥇 Angels – Open Level 5
🥇 Phoenix – Open Level 7
Furies demonstrated an incredibly clean routine, securing them 1st place in the Open Level 3 division. Training just once per week and dealing with some last minute fill-ins due to injury didn’t slow them down. It was so great to see the team progress from their last competition, CheerCon States!
Angels took to the floor for their second competition back from Worlds. Their routine showcased not only their remarkable energy but also their unwavering teamwork and dedication. The Angels’ win is a testament to their commitment and we look forward to seeing the team flourish as the season goes on.
Phoenix demonstrated their undeniable strength and skill as they claimed the 1st place spot in the Open Level 7 Small Coed division. Their performance was nothing short of breathtaking – and the crowd was obsessed! This routine was the second time Phoenix have competed, and marks an important milestone in their journey to Worlds in 2024. Make sure you keep an eye on the teams instagram for their fundraising activities coming up.
This triumphant weekend for MCA not only highlights the exceptional talent within our club but also the dedication and tireless efforts of our coaches and support staff. It’s moments like these that remind us of the power of teamwork, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence.
We look forward to seeing all our All Star teams compete at our next competition, AASCF Spring Carnival, in October!
