Winter School Holidays

The winter school holidays at MCA run from Saturday 29 June to Sunday 14 July. Check out our events below to see what’s happening at MCA over the Term 2 break. AASCF Victorian Winterfest Competition (Saturday 29 June – Sunday 30 June) Our All-Star Novice and All-Star Elite teams kick off the school holidays this weekend with their first competition event for the year – AASCF Winterfest. All teams as well as our group and partner stunts will hit the competition floor for the first time this season. No classes will be running at Box Hill nor Oakleigh over the competition weekend. Contact the office for a schedule of performances to come and support the MCA family! Open Gym (Friday 5th July 5:30-7:30pm) – Box Hill Open Gyms are supervised free time sessions open to athletes of all ages and levels. Athletes are able to work on perfecting the skills they currently have and/or practice drills for the skills they are working towards achieving. Athletes are able to both stunt and tumble at open gyms. This is not a structured class. Open Gym is $15 – everyone welcome! Beginner Come & Try Day (Saturday 6th July 2-3pm) – Box Hill See what cheerleading is all about at our beginner come and try session these Winter school holidays! We are offering a FREE session these school holidays on Saturday 6th July 2-3pm for all beginners to cheer to come and give cheerleading a go. Bring your friends and join in all the fun! Contact us on reception@melbournecheeracademy.com or 9998 6493 for more info. Mid-Year Enrolment Day (Sunday 14th July 10am-2pm) – Box Hill It’s never too late to join cheer! The Box Hill office will be open on Sunday 14th July for any new families to pop in and enrol for Terms 3 and 4 of cheerleading with MCA. Our friendly staff and coaches will be available on the day to hold individual skill assessments and answer any questions you might have regarding enrolment, our teams, competitions or anything else!
