At the end of Term 3, MCA took 9 teams to the AASCF State Championships held at the Melbourne Sports Aquatic Centre in South Melbourne.
With over 140 MCA athletes competing over the weekend, as a club we really made an impact on the competition, with all teams going out and performing a better routine than their last performance, with several teams taking home trophies. The two stand outs for the weekend were the MCA Starlings who won Level 2 Junior State Champions (a huge effort!) and the MCA Phoenix that continued their undefeated year by becoming the Level 4 Open State Champions. As a club we are incredibly proud of all our athletes that competed as well as the parents and supporters for cheering on each MCA team and making the weekend a real success for the club.
