Most casual classes are based on a specific skill set (example – Walkover Class) and some require prerequisite skills from the level or skill set below. If you’re not sure of which classes would suit you and your current tumbling level, give the office a call or speak with your coach.
Walkover classes are ideal for beginners to cheerleading all the way through to our Elite Level 1 Program. Athletes will be taken through drills and exercises to build the strength, flexibility and timing for walkovers.
This class is designed for those working towards their back handspring, or looking to perfect their technique to progress to higher level skills. Athletes will be taken through drills and exercises to build the strength, flexibility and timing for handsprings. It is recommended that athletes have a strong back walkover before attending this class.
Athletes will work on developing their Back Tuck and Back Layout, using drills, timing exercises and conditioning circuits. Athletes must be able to perform multiple handsprings in a row in both standing and tumbling sequences in order to participate in the class.
