Our CheerSport program is specifically designed for beginners new to the sport of All Star Cheerleading who may not be ready to commit to an All Star team. The program provides an intro to all the basic skills of cheer in a low pressure, fun environment!
Training is once a week for 90 minutes, so the commitment level is easy to organise around other sports and activities, and athletes have the option to transfer into our All Star Novice program midyear. CheerSport teams also get to experience the thrill of performing twice per year – once in June and again in November!
CheerSport is a step up in commitment from our recreational Sparks program, being semi-competitive and learning more specific cheerleading skills.
Our CheerSport program offer options for primary and secondary aged athletes!
We keep costs low, with no specific competition uniform requirements
Work on a basic cheerleading routine with your teammates to perform at one of our local competitions each semester!
Melbourne Cheer Academy acknowledges the Wurundjeri people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our gym is located, and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
