We cannot wait for the magical season ahead!
After revealing our new logo last year, we are ecstatic with the reaction we received and are so excited to see it displayed on our NEW Nike team wear this year, plus our NEW competition uniforms. Our athletes really will be #thetealdeal!
We are headed overseas TWICE this year, taking Angels (International Small Coed Level 5) to the Cheerleading Worlds in April, held at DisneyWorld in Florida, as well as Dragons (Open Coed Level 4 All Building) to Hawaii for the Global Games. We can not wait to see them represent MCA at an international level! Both teams will be fundraising throughout the first term so keep an eye out for this.
2023 will be bigger and better than ever at MCA, with 7 new teams across our 6 dedicated programs.
CheerKids – Recreational Program (NEW)
CheerSport – Beginner (once a week)
Novice – Beginner All Star (twice a week)
Elite – Experienced athletes
Performance – Select experienced athletes
Worlds – Advanced athletes Levels 5-7
This year we are introducing a brand new recreational program – Cheerkids! Each class will be run for 45 mins, making it more affordable and easier to slot into a busy schedule as they do not attend competitions and only train once a week. As a special introductory offer, we are offering all new CheerKids enrolments in Term 1 one month for FREE!
Additionally, we have introduced Performance teams this year. These teams are put together to max out the scorecard, and execute high difficulty and exciting routines on the competition floor. Performance teams are for athletes who are already very confident at their current level, so athletes can focus on performance and innovation. We are so excited for this new addition, especially MCA Marvel, who have an extra trick or two up their sleeve…
This is just the beginning for the 2023 season, and we cannot wait to share all our other plans once we get back into the swing of things in Term 1!
