Our Sparks program (previously CheerKids) offers recreational, non competitive classes for beginners new to the sport of Cheerleading or those who are interested in cheer as a more recreational sport. The program provides an intro to all the basics of All Star Cheer with a focus on tumbling skills, in a low pressure, fun environment!
Learn how to cartwheel, forwards roll and handstand safely, whilst also developing gross motor skills, getting fit and making new friends.
Classes run for 45 minutes once per week, so athletes have the chance to develop their tumbling skills on our equipment, trampoline and mats, as well as learning some cheerleading basics, without needing to remember a routine or commit to competitions.
The program aims to provide an additional training session or a stepping stone for athletes into our beginner competitive programs (such as CheerSport and All Star Novice).
Our Sparks program offer options for toddlers through to age 14!
We keep costs low, with no uniform or competition attendance requirements
Utilise all our amazing tumbling equipment and mats, while also learning the cheer basics and making new friends!
Melbourne Cheer Academy acknowledges the Wurundjeri people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our gym is located, and their connections to land, sea and community.
